Perform complete or partial assembly operations to assemble various precision tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, levels, combination squares, etc.
Work to close tolerance with small parts.
Perform bench and small machine operations to assemble a wide variety of parts and tools.
Requires fitting, adjusting, and interchanging of parts to meet standards for accuracy and smoothness of operation.
Manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts to maintain strict quality standards required.
Responsible for final acceptance of tools and making necessary adjustments to satisfy final inspection and quality control requirements.

Report any unusual conditions to supervision. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform all assignments in conformance with all safety and health requirements. Perform all other selected duties required or directed.
